Essay #4

I still remember my motorcycle accident like it was yesterday! Thinking about my accident can be very a emotional memory for me because of the tree that I hit, going to the hospital, and trying to fix my motorcycle; after all the mess was over!

It all started when I was at Munds Park, near Flagstaff, and I was out ridding my dirt bike with my Dad and our buddy Mike! I was ridding through the forest and looked backed to see if Mike was still behind me. When I saw that he was, I turned around, and noticed that there was a tree right in front of me. I tried to turn but missed. I ended up crashing my motorcycle. My right foot got smashed between the tree and the bike; my right handle bar caught the tree and caused the bike to flip over. As the bike landed on the ground, it smashed my left foot as well!

After the wreck, I went to the Flagstaff hospital and waited for many hours. Before I actually got in to see the doctor, I was probably waiting for four hours. When I finally went back and got some ex- rays on my feet, the doctor said that my middle toe on my left foot was broken. I think my family and I were there until about midnight; we probably spent a total of seven ½ hours at the hospital. This probably wouldn’t have happened if I were wearing boots, and not tennis shoes.

Finally, when I got home from the hospital, I saw my destroyed dirt bike. It was very messed up, and had to be fixed to be able to ride it again. When my foot was healed, I started working on my bike. The total money I had to spend was almost a thousand dollars. Some of the work that I had to do was weld up the frame, and pop a dent out of the gas tank, and part of my wheel re shaped. It was going to be a long and hard process to accomplish, and was going to be very costly as well.

In conclusion, remembering this accident still brings terror to my mind. Just thinking of running into the tree, running into the tree, and the destruction of my bike, brings bad memories back. Although my wreck hurt very bad, the thought of my dirt bike being messed up is just as painful in my mind.

You need to space in between the paragraphs so I can tell where one paragraph begins and ends. Also, you need more support in the body paragraphs give more details. Improve your motivator and clincher.
